Heavy-duty cutting with box guideways and gear spindle

The Hi-TECH 550 features very wide box guideways, making it ideal for heavy-duty cutting and machining of particularly hard and tough materials. Various bed lengths (up to 3.2 m), a programmable tailstock, and the option for one or more steady rests enable the machining of especially long workpieces. Optional linear scales for absolute position measurement provide the highest precision. A rapid turret indexing time of just 0.2 seconds per station further enhances its efficiency.

The Hi-TECH 550 turret offers high clamping force and takes only 0.2 seconds to switch to the next tool.

For particularly long workpieces, the machine can be equipped with a steady rest.

Wide turret (optional)

An optional wider version of the Hi-TECH 550 turret is available, featuring 12 stations, each with two consecutive tool holders. This design accommodates long tools securely, enhancing stability and rigidity during the cutting process.
