The lathes of the MEGA series are specifically designed for producing very small batches, performing repair work, and machining particularly heavy and large workpieces.

In addition to numerical control, the MEGA series is equipped with handwheels, allowing operation like a conventional lathe – a significant advantage for repair work and rework machining.

The high drive power of 18.5/15 kW and very wide guideways ensure a stable and efficient cutting process. With the MEGA-72, workpieces weighing up to 1.8 tonnes and with a turning length of up to 3 m can be machined effortlessly.
